The outcome of the exercise was the main hull and the stern section (that became detached during the lift) were relocated into deeper water.One wonders if this technology is possible with the raising of the Australian WW1 sub the AE2 in the sea off Turkey.The AE2 was a major contributing factor in the Gallipoli campaign.
